About Our Transition from Toys for Tots to Macon County Elves

For many years, our team of dedicated volunteers here in Macon County proudly supported the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots program, helping bring joy and holiday magic to local children and families.

This year, we’ve chosen to take the next step in our community service journey by forming our own local organization: Macon County Elves.

While our name and structure are new, our mission remains the same — to ensure that every child in Macon County experiences the joy and wonder of the holiday season. By operating independently, we can:

• Keep every dollar and every toy donated right here in Macon County
• Respond faster to local needs and special circumstances
• Partner directly with local schools, churches, and community organizations
• Create more flexible, year-round opportunities to support families

We are deeply grateful for the years of partnership and experience gained through Toys for Tots, and we’re excited to carry that same spirit of giving forward — with a local touch and a heart full of community pride.
